Peck Private Press respects your privacy. This website only collects information reasonably necessary to operate the website and communicate with readers.
Mailing list
When you subscribe to the Peck Private Press mailing list, we collect:
- Your email address
- The page from which you subscribed
- The consent statement shown when you subscribed
- The date and time of your subscription or unsubscription
We use this information only to send publication announcements, new essays, and occasional updates from Peck Private Press.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but reasonable measures are used to protect the information entrusted to us.
Email delivery
Subscriber email addresses are encrypted while stored in our self-hosted WordPress database. Access to subscriber information is restricted to website administrators.
We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for behavioral advertising, or provide the mailing list to unrelated third parties. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website and its users.
Retention and your choices
An active subscription record is retained while you remain subscribed.
Every mailing-list message includes an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, your record is retained for up to 30 days to process the request and resolve any related issues. It is then automatically and permanently deleted from the mailing list database.

Cookies and tracking
Peck Private Press does not and will not use advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics. WordPress may use essential cookies that are strictly necessary for website administration, security, and basic operation.
Because the site does not currently use cross-site advertising tracking, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how the website operates.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed toward children under 13, and Peck Private Press does not knowingly collect their personal information.
